Over the last few years, the Citizen’s Forum has met with considerable obstacles and as a result, has been unsuccessful. However, due to government intervention by the State of Maharashtra, there are now weekly meetings held to review the IHSDP scheme in Sangli. The meetings are convened by the municipal commissioner or state commissioner and are held every Monday. They are intended for all concerned stakeholders to review the status of the project.
Shelter Associates will be posting the minutes from each meeting, in the interest of keeping all concerned parties, even those unable to attend the meetings, up to date on the IHSDP scheme.
